Poetics through Russian Art (PORA) is a digital humanities project exploring how Russian and Soviet visual culture—from Orthodox iconography to constructivist design—speaks to broader ideas about ideology, beauty, and meaning.

Through video essays and a newsletter (forthcoming), the project combines rigorous art historical and literary analysis with attention to the distinctly human dimensions of works that come from this part of the world.
